This recipe was given to me by Mrs. Rutkowski. She and her husband sell garden produce at a stand on Route 86 near Waterford, Pa.

| 6 | cups | water |
| 3 | cups | vinegar |
| 1/2 | cup | pickling salt |
| DirectionsMix the water, vinegar and pickling salt together and heat it quite hot but do not let it boil. Put the pickles and a bit of dill in a large mayonaise jar or a crock and pour the mixture over them. Put them in the refirgerator for about a week. We also added a clove of garlic to the bottom of the jar. | ||
