| 1/2 | lb | melted butter (cooled) |
| 7 | eggs | |
| 1 1/2 | cups | sugar |
| 2 | tsp | vanilla / anise |
| 1/2 | tsp | anise seed (to taste) |
| Directions:
Beat eggs till foamy; combine sugar until thick, add cool melted butter, add flour, baking powder, vanilla or anise. Let stand (cool) for 1/2 hour. Bake on a pizelle iron for 1/2 to 1 minute. |
