| 4 | onions, sliced | |
| 1 | green pepper | |
| 1 | red pepper | |
| 1/2 | cup | canning salt |
| 3 | cups | white vinegar |
| 5 | cups | sugar |
| 1 1/2 | tsp. | tumeric |
| 1 1/2 | tsp. | celery seed |
| 2 | TBSP | mustard seed |
| Directions
Slice cukes thin. Add onion, and red and green pepper, cut in narrow slices. Add salt and cover with ice. Mix thoroughly. Let stand 3 hours. Drain. Combine vinegar, sugar and spices. Pour over cukes. Heat to boiling. Seal in sterilized jars. |
